Wasn't entirely sure where to put this... yeah...

Anyway, I love an excuse to dress up. July 4th, the US's Independence Day, has become one of those excuses. In past years I'd just try to color-coordinate my clothes, but last year I decided to start messing with my makeup, too (I might eventually post a pic).

Anyway, this is what I did this year. It ended up a little different than planned... The bow in my hair was gonna be at me neck, the makeup was going to be more like last year's (lid stripes), red ribbons were gonna be in my hair... Well, largely thanks to my little brother (who basically wanted to look like a more colorful version of Kiss' Starchild), things ran a bit late and I had to hurry.

I was told several times that I looked Chinese, and once that I looked Japanese. That latter one, guy seriously thought I was some random Japanese chick, even though I'd gone to school with him for a couple years, and we'd hung out plenty. So, I apparently celebrated the US Independence Day by looking oriental. o.O Oh well, fireworks were invented in China anyway...
